Horace Junior Williams, 70, Glasgow, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023 at the T J Samson Community Hospital. Born February 20, 1953 in Graceville, Florida, he was the son of the late John James Williams and Bennie Frank Hyatt Williams.
Junior was an auto body repairman who had many interests. He loved spending time with his family and friends and attending car shows. He took great pride in using his talents in the restoration of antique automobiles. He was truly an artisan.
Survivors include his wife Lou Ann Williams; two children: James Jason Williams and wife Valorie of Knob Lick, and Celesta Carrie Decker and husband Jathan of Glasgow; three grandchildren: Alex Williams and wife Kennedy, Alexis Johnson, and Lily Williams; one great-grandchild, Rowen Woodcock; one sister, Syble Phillips of New Caney, Texas; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: John Wayne Williams and Jerry Wells; and by three sisters: Janice Miles, Dale McAllister, and Martha Hubbard.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Peers Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
