Hillous R Knight

Hillous R. Knight, 90, of Venice, Florida passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Tidewell Care Center at Village on the Isle in Venice, Florida. He was a son of the late Arthur Hopkins and Georgie Lue Knight.

He is survived by his wife: Ruth Earlene Dugard Knight; three children: Tim Birge, Alan Knight (Jonie) and Kathie Weaver (Karen Lindley); three grandchildren: Chris Birge (Lisa), Kimberly Guhl (Charles) and Kevin Weaver (Cynthia); nine great-grandchildren: Adam Birge (Joysana), Brandon Birge, Caleb Birge, Hannah Poindexter (Bryce), Christopher Guhl, Alex Guhl, Shelby Laister (Jordan), Devin Weaver and Elizabeth Weaver; six great-great-grandchildren: Ashley Garcia, Samuel Birge, Simon Birge, Jackson Birge, Alice Birge and Karrie Wemmer (Daniel); one great-great-great-grandchild: Quinten Wemmer.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother: David Hopkins.

Funeral will be 1:00 pm Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 am Saturday until time for services at the funeral home.
