Henry Lee Peden

Henry Lee Peden 82 of Smiths Grove, Ky. passed away April 30, 2026

He enlisted in the U.S.M.C. in 1962 and served 6 years as a E5-Sergeant. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator and retired at age 72. He was baptized at Church of Christ in Glasgow.

He is Preceded in death by his parents William "Clyde" Peden and Leona Morgan Peden, 4 brothers: Frank, Billy, Ray and Aubrey Peden, 2 sisters Faye Bradshaw and Eugenia Groce and grandaughter April Ottens and companion Penny Peden.

Survivors include daughters: Karen Lee Peden Dill (Matt Davis) of Foley Al. and Teresa Peden Riddle (John) of Bement, Il. and grandchildren: Haley Dill Murphy (Cameron) and Chase Smith (Brittney) of Foley, Al and Daniel Riddle (Courtney) and Jacob Riddle (Randi) of Bement, Il. Brother Jimmy Peden (Cherry) and stepdaughters Kathy Cawthron and Tina Conner of Pensacola, Fl. and step-grandchildren: Brandon Cawthorn, Joseph Carney, Kristin Zinman, Rayli South, Tyler Davenport, Paige Thomas, and Noah Conner.

Cremation was chosen and under the direction of Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
