Henry L. “Bud” Williams, 80 of Rocky Hill died Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at NHC Healthcare.  He was the son of the late Wilbur Dale Williams and Junie Mae Garner Williams.  He was a navy veteran of WWII and was retired from Preston Ropp Chevrolet where he did body repair work.

He is survived by his wife Faye Thompson Williams; one son: Ernest Williams and his wife Sandra of Bowling Green; three daughters: Shirley Harlow and her husband George of Glasgow, Gerldene Tennyson and her husband Dale of Glasgow and Anita Williams and her husband Wayne of Bowling Green; ten grandchildren: Amanda Harlow, Phaedra Pippin, Jackie Cartmill, Charolette Goldsmith, Michael Bresson, Joshua Williams, Betsy Williams, Bethany Williams, Gary Pierce II and Will Pierce; thirteen great-grandchildren; seven sisters: Christine Byrd of Ohio, Ruby Hensley of Louisville, Mae Adwell of Louisville, Ruth Harvey of Glasgow, Lucy Birge of Indiana, Alice Warren of Illinois and Dora Creek of Nashville; one sister-in-law: Mrs. Wilbur Dale, Jr. of Illinois.

Preceded in death by two grandsons: David Williams and L. H. Woodcock; one granddaughter: Whitney Johnson; four brothers: Homer Lee, Wilbur Dale Jr., Earl Taylor and Bobby Gene Williams.

Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Rev. Bradley Lewis officiating.   Burial will be in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
