Harold Eugene Ballard, 67, Glasgow, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021 at the T J Samson Community Hospital. A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late Marvin and Emma Byrd Ballard. He was a construction worker and attended the Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Ann Ballard; three children: Harold Scott Ballard, Jennifer Hogge (husband Roger), and Jonathan Ballard; two step-daughters, Jennifer Carver and Sammie Falk; four grandchildren: Dakota Ballard, Brennan Walls, Braydon Walls, and Gracie Ballard; two step-grandchildren: Shallie McBride and Hunter Pearson; one brother, Phillip Ballard (Becky); several nieces and nephews along with his special companion Tiny.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Samuel Ballard and three sisters: Jennie Martin, Shirley Tomes, and Barbara Flowers.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Locust Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, continue all day Thursday, and Friday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
