Glenn Reeves, age 80, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away on November 17, 2021. He was born to the late Richmond Buford “Banty” Reeves and Alma Young Reeves of Columbia, Kentucky in 1941 and graduated from Adair County High School in 1960. Glenn worked as a builder for nearly 40 years. He was an active member of Glasgow Cumberland Presbyterian Church for over 50 years and served as an elder. He was an avid outdoorsman and long-time member of the Barren Bassmasters. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a collector of antique fishing lures.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and two older brothers, Earl Dean Holt and Paul Reeves. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Judy Strange Reeves of Glasgow, Kentucky; son Ronald Glenn Reeves (Alisha) of Glasgow, Kentucky; daughter Nancy Reeves Moore (Jeff) of Bowling Green, Kentucky: five grandchildren Megan Reeves Graham (Scott), Sam Richardson, Drew Richardson, Brady Moore, and Chase Moore; siblings Mary Reeves Coffey of Glasgow, Kentucky and Phyllis Reeves Smith, Carol Reeves Shaul, Louis Reeves (Nancy), Danny Reeves, and Dennis Reeves (Renee) of Columbia, Kentucky, as well as several special nieces, nephews, and family members.
The funeral service for Mr. Reeves will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021 and until the time of service on Saturday, November 20, 2021.
