Glenda Paulette Tooley

Glenda Paulette Tooley, 65, Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the NHC Healthcare Center. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late James Monroe Webb and Blanche A. Sanders.

Mrs. Tooley was of the Methodist Faith. She was a nursing assistant who had served in a number of capacities. She had been employed by Dr. Phillip Whiteside and later served in numerous positions at the Medical Center, Glasgow State Hospital, Norton’s Hospital, and eventually as a private care giver.

Survivors include one son, Brandon Tooley and his wife Heather of Etoile; two grandchildren: Chloe Ann Tooley and Braxtyn Guy Tooley; two aunts: Hettie Sanders and Mezetta Hunter; two uncles: Amos Webb and Charles Hunter; cousins: Annetta Hunter Hanks-(Eric), Nicole Hunter, Diane Harris, Dana Webb, Christian Hunter, and Taylor Hunter; along with many other cousins and family members.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with burial in the Barlow Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and after 12 noon Monday at the church.
