Gladys Z. Sandidge, 63, formerly of Hardyville, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at Caverna Memorial Hospital. A native of Edmonson County, she was a daughter of the late Sanford and Cora Trulock Glass. She was a CNA at Hart County Health Care Center and a member of the Ollie Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband: Richard; one daughter: Vickie Ralston and husband Robert of Hardyville; one son: Ronald Sandidge and wife Alicia of Cub Run; two grandchildren: Ethan Sandidge and Hannah Sandidge; one sister: Geneva Jewell of Glasgow; three brothers: Leroy Glass and Gene Glass of Hardyville, and Freeman Glass of Bee Springs; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Dewayne Glass and Kenneth Glass.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to help defray funeral expenses.
