George Morgan

George Morgan, 77 of Glasgow, died Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Wilford Morgan and Ruby Hagan Morgan.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Katherine Franklin Morgan; one son: Tony Morgan and his wife Donna of Glasgow; three daughters: Judy Jeffries and her husband Rex of Corydon, IN, Robin Corbin and her husband Jim of Glasgow and Deborah Morgan of Glasgow; eight grandchildren: Rex Jeffries, III, Mechelle Stoner, Lee Jeffries, Brittney Morgan, Danielle Corbin, Chandler Morgan, Karalyne Morgan and George Madden Morgan; four great-grandchildren: Taylor Jeffries, Zack Jeffries, Evan Campbell and Brennan Campbell; two brothers: Hobart Morgan of Cave City and Wayne Morgan of Glasgow; two sisters: Opal Parker of IN and Dorothy Edwards of Knob Lick.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his granddaughter Madilyn Grace Morgan; one brother: Charles P. Morgan; one sister: Francis Houchens.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Woodie officiating. Burial will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
