George Wayne Cherry

George Wayne Cherry, 78, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at home surrounded by family. He was a son of the late William Mack Cherry and Edna Mae Levy Cherry.
He is survived by his wife: Judy Cherry; two sons: Anthony Cherry (Misti) and Eric Cherry (Dawn); one sister: Phyllis Nunn (Steve); sister-in-law: Doris Cherry; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers: James Cherry, Doris “Doc” Cherry and Glenn Cherry; two sister-in-laws: Edith Cherry and Glenda Cherry.
Funeral will be 2:00 pm Monday, March 10, 2025 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday and after 10:00 am Monday until time for services.
