Geneva Flora Bennett

Geneva Flora Bennett, 85, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025 at NHC Health Care Center. She was a daughter of the late Chester Edward Garrett and Leether Edith Parrigan Garrett. She was a devoted member of East Fork Missionary Baptist Church until her health declined. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and a friend to everyone; she devoted her life to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and God. 

She is survived by her husband of 67 years: Charles Dunham Bennett; three children: Vernon Bennett (Brenda), Darlene Wells (Jeff) and Darrell Bennett (Nancy Miller); three grandchildren: Anthony Bennett (Ashleigh), Melissa Jones (Bryan) and Jamie Griffiths (Austin); six great-grandchildren: Isaac Jones (Sydney), Noah Jones, Mason Bennett, Reagan Griffiths, Lilleigh Bennett and Garrett Griffiths; one sister: Shirley Dowell; several nieces and nephews also survive.  

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings: Louise Garmon, Janet Compton, Hazel Garrett and Wilbert Garrett. 

Funeral will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday and after 9:00 am Wednesday until time for services.
