Garnett H. Williams

Garnett H. Williams, 78, Glasgow, died Thursday in Glasgow. A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Nathan and Jewell Emerson Williams. He was a retired special events coordinator for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company and a member of the Oak Grove Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Neal Williams and his wife, Peggy, of Cottontown, TN; two granddaughters, Melissa Stephanski and Tiffany Williams both of Bowling Green; one great-grandson, Chandler Stephanski; one brother, J. R. Williams of Park City; one sister, Thelma Lewis of Smiths Grove; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Smith Williams.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Oak Grove Methodist Church with burial in the Rocky Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
