Garnett C. “Buck” Larabee, 70, Glasgow, died Friday, April 19, 2013, at his residence. A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late Howard and Betty Hazel Wyatt Larabee. He was a retired security guard, having worked at Handmacher’s and R. R. Donnelley’s.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Barbara Shoopman Larabee; five children: Garnett C. Larabee, Jr. and wife Debbie of Gordonsville, TN; Mary Sue Larabee Ward and husband Phil of Hiseville; Cindy Larabee Firkin and husband Russell, Vickie Larabee, and Teresa Larabee Chapman and husband Timmy all of Glasgow; 13 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be in the form of donations to help defray funeral expenses.
