Freddie York, 67, Glasgow, died December 3, 2014, at the NHC Healthcare Center. A son of the late Cleo and Elma Broaddus York, he was a retired sheet metal worker, having worked for McDaniel Sheet Metal.
Survivors include his wife Becky; one son: Freddie Lester York and wife Holly of Glasgow; one daughter: Pennie Sue Odom and husband Derrick of Bowling Green; two granddaughters: Hailey York and Rebecca Odom; four brothers: Alvis York and wife Sue, Bill York and wife Mary, Clifford York and wife Doris, and Larry York and wife Diane; one sister: Cordie Eden and husband Eddie; a brother-in-law: Bill Dickerson; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Jim York and his wife Geraldine; one sister: Jane Dickerson; and two nephews: Arvis Eden and Jason York.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until time for services at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
