Flora Mae Edmunds, 85, Beckton, died Tuesday, March 08, 2005, at the Glasgow State Nursing Facility. The Barren County native was a daughter of the late Leonard and Maude Emerson Edmunds, a homemaker and a member of the Beckton Church of Christ.
Survivors include two brothers, Thomas Edmunds and wife, Ruth, and John Edmunds and wife, Naomi, all of Beckton; one sister, Mildred Buckingham and husband, Cecil, of Warren County; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Edmunds and Margaret Edmunds of Glasgow; one brother-in-law, Erbie Garrett of Hodgenville; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betsy Garrett and Byrd Ackerson and husband, Ishmael; and four brothers, Walter Edmunds, Charles Edmunds, Judson Edmunds and Henry Donald Edmunds.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
