Everett Wayne Gentry, 64 of Glasgow passed away July 19, 2025 at his residence. He was the son of the Late Kenneth Gentry and Anna Rhoton Watt. He was a retired fabricator for Tekno and knew a little about every trade. He spent a lot of time working on different projects in his garage. His family describes him as a loving husband, daddy, and papa.

Survivors include his three daughters, Kennedy Gentry, Brandi Gentry, and Whitney Wood (Brian); five grandchildren: Jack, Thomas, Cash, Maci, and Remi; two sisters: Shelia Williams (Todd), and Laura Peden; three nephews: Ben Williams (Brittany), Matt Williams, and Caleb Peden (Summer); niece Sam Williams, and several cousins whom he loved. Additionally he had an amazing caregiver and friend to the family, Lori Broaddus.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife Marla Peden Gentry.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Neals Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
