Emma Alice Hamilton, 81, Glasgow, died Tuesday, February 1, 2005, at the NHC Nursing Facility. A daughter of the late Henry Minnis and Emmer Piper Williams, she was a retired nurse and a member of the Coral Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Ronald Eugene Pace and wife Kathy of Colorado; one daughter, Tonya Lois Taylor of Glasgow; one sister, Edna Tobin and husband John Lee of Glasgow; three grandchildren: Shannon Pace, David Pace and Alexander Taylor; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Flavie Pace and Thomas Donald Hamilton; three brothers: John C., Ralph and Roger Paul Williams; three sisters: Pearl Jones, Alien Pace and Cynthia Compton.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 3, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Alternate expression of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Glasgow.
