Elsie Jane Morgan Peden, 59, Glasgow, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at her residence.  A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Sophia Jane Ferguson Morgan, a factory worker, a member of NAMI and attended the Glasgow Wesleyan Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Terri Lynn Gibbons and her husband, David, and Kenna Dee Peden; three sons, Kevin Dale Peden, Kris Peden and his wife, Marsha, and Ken Garrett and his wife, Teresa Eversole-Garrett, all of Glasgow; three grandchildren, Brandon Trae Gordon, Benjamin Kyle Gordon and Johnathan Taylor Peden; three sisters, Lucille Hiser of Glasgow, Virginia Sturghill and Clara Mae Onofrey both of Louisville; three brothers, Thomas Morgan of Glasgow, Frank Morgan, Jr. of Louisville and William Herschel Morgan of Winchester; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly Jane Peden; four brothers, Eugene Morgan, Ray Morgan, Welby Morgan and Albert Morgan; two sisters, Leona Simmons and Aleyne Carnahan.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2005, at the Glasgow Wesleyan Church with burial in the Big Meadow Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
