Elna Walton Locke, 88, Hiseville, died Sunday, August 22, 2010, at NHC in Glasgow. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Gideon Earl and Fannie Saunders Walton. She was former co-owner of Locke’s Grocery in Hiseville with her husband, the late Carl B. Locke. She was a member of the Hiseville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Locke Seymour and her husband, Randy, of Upton; three grandchildren, William Seymour III, John Seymour (Leslie), and Leslie Jo Blackford (Chris); 6 great-grandchildren, Liam Seymour, Sadie Seymour, Carlie Seymour, Carson Seymour, Luke Blackford and Logan Blackford; one sister, Emma Ruth Walton Stacy (Richard) of Tucson, AZ; one brother-in-law, Joseph Locke of Louisville; several nieces and nephews, including Mary Ann Locke of Louisville and Billy Locke of Glasgow.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Hiseville United Methodist Church.
