Elavesta Martin

Elavesta Harlow Martin, 95, Glasgow, died Thursday, September 22, 2005, at Runell’s Family Care Center. A daughter of the late T. H. and Ova Green Harlow, she was a retired seamstress at Handmacher Fashions in Glasgow. She was a member of the Homemakers Club and the Siloam Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Eldora Harlow of Glasgow and Jean Kidd of Louisville; one brother, Garland Harlow of Elizabethtown; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ish Martin; one sister, Maudie Ree Houchens; three brothers, Wendell Harlow, Vincent Harlow and Roy Harlow.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Saturday, September 24, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
