Edgar Reece

Edgar Reece, 88, of Big Meadow, died Thursday, March 06, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late James William Reece and Martha Ellen Ferguson Reece, a veteran of WWII and a member of the Wisdom Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife Dorine Reece, one son: Donnie Reece and his wife Kathy of Big Meadow; one daughter: Sheila Pruitt and her husband Mike of Big Meadow; two step daughters: Diana Daniel and her husband David of MO., Gayle Morrison and her husband Johnny of Hiseville; ten grandchildren: Kim Reece, Scotty Reece, Ryan Jessie, Dr. Benjamin Jessie, Daniel Morrison, Dana Trent, Amber Jones, Ginger Earnest, Shawn Daniel and Michelle Williams; thirteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Juanita Pedigo Reece.
Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Gray officiating. Burial will be in the Big Meadow Cemetery with Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV providing military honors. Visitation will be after 3:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
