Dorotha Novella Glass, 79, Burkesville, died Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville. The daughter of the late James Miracle and Anna Isabella Robbins Miracle, she was a retired seamstress in a garment factory and was a proud foster grandparent.
Survivors include five children: Rita Jeffries (Terry), Robert Glass (Robin), Stephanie Jessie (Aubrey), Darrell Glass (Sherry), and James Glass (Ashley); one sister, Carrie Lucille Alexander; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Wilburn Glass, and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
