Donald Ray Mayes

Donald Ray Mayes, 65 of Glasgow died Saturday, February 4, 2006 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Eddie Clay Mayes and Amy Hazel Rigney Mayes. Donald was an avid fisherman and a member of the Bass Masters in Glasgow.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Mayes; one son: Joe Mayes and his wife Shari of Glasgow; one daughter: Valerie Fleming and her husband Mike of Glasgow; six grandchildren: Kyla Mayes, Tony Mayes, Macayla Mayes, Vanessa Cox, Brandy Bragg, Michael Steenbergen; two great-grandchildren: Destany Wheeler and Isaiah Ramsey; three sisters: Edna Riddle, Margaret Poindexter and Susie Wyatt.
Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. David Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Bristletown Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.
