Donald Lee Smith, 77, of Glasgow, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012. He was the son of the late Jessie Smith and Delia Taylor Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Smith.
He is survived by three sons: Lonnie Lee Smith (Cathy) of Glasgow, Steve A. Smith of Cave City and Kelly D. Smith of Houston, TX; two daughters: Marcella G. Smith of Dallas, TX and Tonya S. Ellis of Bay City, TX; thirteen grandchildren: Jamie Renee Rich, Christopher Lee Smith, Jeremy Todd Smith, Aaron McQuaid Smith, Brentley David Pursley, Kessley Hall, Jason Alan Smith, Nicole M. Terral, Amanda Lee Cosby, Jessica Ann Parris, Chelsea Marie Benson, Mindy Lynn Smith and Isaac Kelly Smith; one sister: Thelma Staples; nineteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A special friend Donna Hale also survives.
Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Jeffries Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
