Della Louise Vaughn, Glasgow, Kentucky victoriously entered the gates of heaven on March 15,2026 at the glorious age of 69 years. She was born on March 13, 1957 to the late Frank "Webb" Garrett and Anna "Luddy" Pennington
Della was a retired nurse from TJ Samson Hospital where she dedicated well over 25 years of her life. Where she made life long friends and selflessly gave love and care to countless patients young and old. Della's favorite things in life were found at home with her beloved husband and son. That she devoted her life to. Della was always easy to find in the summer time by a swimming pool reading a good book.
Della is preceded in death by her loving husband Luther Vaughn, one grandson Jayden Vaughn, her parents Webb Garrett and Anna "Luddy" and Virgil Pennington, and 3 sisters Elizabeth Garrett, Karen Whitlow, and Gina Abney-Oaks
Della is survived by her Greatest Blessings in life: her son Caleb Vaughn and grandchildren Aliyah, Bentley and Kayden Vaughn, and Hadleigh Houchens; two sisters: Jennifer " Becky" Pennington(Mikey), and Melissa Sturgeon-Abney(Kenny); three nephews Blake Hobart, Chandler Smith, and Lee Ennis; special niece Trinity Smith Harrison(Ryan), Along with several dear and close cousins; special cousin Stacy Emberton also survives.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, March 22,2026 at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial to follow at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:00pm on Sunday prior to the service.
