Gary Smith

Gary Smith 79, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at his residence. He was a son of the late Sidney Richard Smith and Ester Mae Dinkelstiel Smith.

He is survived by his loving partner and best friend of 26 years: Karen Nunn of Glasgow; his daughter Kimberly Rosini (Mark) of Stanley, New York; two grandchildren: Jacob Rosini (Katelyn) and Jessica Rosini (Brok); two great-grandchildren: Samuel and Silas; one brother: Dick Smith (Monica) of Louisville, Kentucky.

His greatest pleasure was hiking at Mammoth Cave National Park with his friends and with Karen in the mountains of North Carolina.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday, July 31, 2026 at Neal’s Chapel Cemetery. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
