Darrell Wayne Kerney, 52, Glasgow, died Sunday, July 15, 2012, at his residence. A son of the late Willie Lee and Delcie Wilcox Kerney, he was a construction worker and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Tiffany Lynn Kerney; one step-son, Joshua Craig Whitlow; two grandchildren, Madison Brooke Jessie and Austin Lee Jessie; two sisters, Fanny Basil (Gene) and Patty Lane (J.C.); one brother, Gary Kerney (Bonnie); several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Kerney and Jerry Kerney, and two sisters, Violet Gillentine and Gloria Pitcock.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
