Danny Ray “Dan” Cravens, 63, Smiths Grove, died Monday, May 25, 2009 at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green. A son of the late Fred and Madell Smith Cravens , he was a former truck driver and mechanic and a member of the Coral Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Patricia Harman and her husband, Lee, of Texas and Alicia Buttress and her husband, Oran, of Oklahoma; his partner, Inez Parsley of Smiths Grove; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jesse Cordell Cravens.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
