Daniel Lane Carver, 59, Horse Cave, died Thursday, September 11, 2014, at his residence. A native of Indianapolis, he was a son of the late Alfred Ervin and Virginia Lea Childers Carver. He was a carpenter and roofer.
Survivors include his wife Ada; two daughters: Stacy Shirley and husband Tommy of Glasgow; Dana Coats and husband Scott of Horse Cave; six grandchildren: Zachary Carver, Sierra Coats, Kaitlyn Coats, Isaac Coats, Jacob Shirley, and Joshua Shirley; four brothers: James Carver and wife Della, Hunter Carver, Roger Carver and wife Bonnie, Kirk Carver and wife Patricia; two sisters: Patricia Wright and husband Roy, and Barbara Holland; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Donald Carver and Marty Carver; and one brother-in-law: Timmy Holland.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 to 6 p.m. Saturday and before services on Sunday at the funeral home.
