Clydean F. Dickerson, 93, Glasgow, died Friday, January 04, 2013, at Barren County Health Care Center. A native of Jefferson County, she was a daughter of the late Waller Wesley Patterson and Annie Lois Houchens Patterson. She was a retired seamstress at Handmacher Fashions and a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Roberta Hawkins of Glasgow; three grandchildren, Tina Brown (Jerry McCoy), Beth Ryan (Mark), and Brad Rutledge (Gina); two step-grandsons, H. C. Hawkins and Danny Hawkins; one sister, Evelyn Lyons; three great-grandsons, Ben Brown (Shannan), Tyler Brown (Bekka), and Austin Rutledge; three great-granddaughters, Jessica Brown, Heather Ryan Sexton (Robby), and Elizabeth Oglesby; three great-great grandsons, Connor Brown, Jakob Brown, and Jude Sexton; one great-great granddaughter, Lily Brown; two nieces, Marilyn Gold and Carolyn Oliver; one nephew, Jimmy Lyons; son-in-law, Mac Rutledge (Hazel); former grandson-in-law, Keith Brown; along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Jewell Dickerson; one daughter, Gloria Ann Rutledge; one great-granddaughter, Erin Taylor Brown; and one sister, Kathryn Lockhart Jackson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may be donations to the American Cancer Society.
