Clyde Ray Slayton

Clyde Ray Slayton, 57, Glasgow, died Sunday, November 19, 2006, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Westmoreland, TN, he was a son of the late Garland and Lassie Likens Slayton and a former carrier for the Glasgow Daily Times.
Survivors include his wife, Darline; three daughters, Debra Slayton, Tricia Brown and Melissa Young and her husband, Richard, all of Glasgow; two sons, Joey Slayton of Glasgow, and Greg Slayton and wife, Penni, of Summer Shade; one sister, Pat Bragg and husband, Larry, of Austin; two brothers, David Slayton and wife, Barbara, and Danny Slayton and wife, Kathy, all of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren, Malacia Slayton, Rylen Slayton, Bryson Slayton, Kaitlyn Slayton and Hannah Young.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and her husband, Linda and Steve Johnson.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2006, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
