Christopher "Possum" Scott Walker

Christopher “Possum” Scott Walker, formerly of Tompkinsville, Ky., was born on March 12, 1977, in Monroe County to Floyd Walker Jr. and the late Zelma Anita Walker, who both loved him dearly. Christopher departed this life on May 10, 2025, at Barren County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Glasgow, Ky.

Chris is survived by his father and two brothers, Floyd Walker III (Christie) of Glasgow and Dewight Walker, as well as a special nephew, Ethan “Bubba” Walker. He is also survived by one niece, Emily Gentry; two nephews, Austin and Trevor Walker; two great-nephews; one great-niece; and several uncles and aunts.

He is preceded in death by his Mother Zelma Anita Walker, paternal grandparents Floyd Walker Sr. And Dorthy Helen Walker and maternal grandparents Carlie B. Monday Sr. And Oval Pacola Monday. Cremation was chosen with no services at this time. Chris will be laid to rest in the Scotts Pleasant Acres cemetery in Tompkinsville, Ky. with a small private ceremony at a later time. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
