Christine Fidella Shipley, 82, formerly of Glasgow, died Thursday, August 01, 2013, at Rosewood Health & Rehab Center in Bowling Green. A daughter of the late Ester and Lola Houchens Davis, she was a homemaker and a member of the Peters Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter: Carolyn Shirley and husband Leon; one granddaughter: Brandi Turner and husband Jason; two great-granddaughters: Courtney and Alexandria Turner; one sister: Catherine Wiley, all of Glasgow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: J. T. Davis of Scottsville.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
