Charles Bertram Shirley

Bro. Charles Bertram Shirley, 76 of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Saturday, April 26, 2025 at NHC Health Care. He was a son of the late Curt and Laura Janes Shirley. He was a member of East Fork Missionary Baptist Church and was saved as a young boy at Rock Springs Baptist Church.

He is survived by one son: Brandon Shirley (Jamie) one daughter: Ashley Vibbert (Jessie) four grandchildren: Tyler Shirley, Corbin Vibbert, Connor Vibbert and Cassidy Vibbert; three brothers: Junior Shirley (Shirley), Fred Shirley (Jeaniene) and Philip Shirley (Margaret); two sisters: Christine Bennett and Brenda Smith; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers: Roy Shirley, Bobby Shirley, James Shirley, Earl Dunham Shirley and Paul David Shirley; two sisters: Dee Burris and Pauline Shirley.

Funeral will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Bragg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday and after 9:00 am Wednesday until time for services at the funeral home.
