Charles “Salty” Whitlow
January 6, 1938 ~ February 22, 2005
Charles Thomas “Salty” Whitlow, 67, Hardyville, died Tuesday, February 22, 2005, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A son of the late Cleatus and Lola Byrd Coffey Whitlow.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Jaggers Whitlow; one son, David Whitlow and wife, Angela; one daughter, Peggy Stephens and husband David, all of Hardyville; 3 brothers, Richard and Joe Ray Whitlow, of Illinois, and Todd Whitlow of Greensburg; four sisters, Betty Jean Sego, Rose Nell Asbury, Sylvia Jean Childress and Doris Jean Whitlow, all of Illinois; three grandchildren, April and Amber Stephens and Christine Whitlow.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ernie Lee, Jack and James Cleatus Whitlow.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Cosby Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
