Charles Franklin “Frankie” Cornelius, 67, Munfordville, died Monday, May 5, 2014, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Jasper Franklin and Mary Alice Basil Cornelius. He was a heavy duty equipment operator and truck driver, and a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife Theresa Diane Cornelius; two sons: Charles Erik Cornelius of Russellville and Christopher Scott Cornelius of Munfordville; one daughter: Carolyn Suzanne Neal and husband Mark of Dixon, KY; five grandchildren: Zoey and Mia Neal; Kay Leigh, Kyle, and Alex Rohrer-Cornelius; one brother: James “Jimmy” Cornelius and wife Vicki of Smiths Grove; one sister: Martha Hogan and husband Keith of Brownsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Donald Cornelius.
Funeral services will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be after 12 noon Thursday at the funeral home.
