Charles Joseph Baldwin, 78, Glasgow, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at his residence. A native of Indiana, he was a son of the late William and Ruby Baldwin. He was a graduate of Monrovia High School in Indiana and was a retired insurance salesman and minister. He was a veteran with the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Clara; three sons, Timmy Earl Bryant of Glasgow, Danny Joe Baldwin and Mike Baldwin both of Indiana; one daughter, Vickie Jean Vanvlymen of Indiana; two sisters, Shirley May Williams of Texas and Grace “Dee” Carnahan of Indiana; several grandchildren, nieces and nephew.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Chuckie Baldwin and 5 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Horse Cave with burial in the Lighthouse Church Community Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Thursday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
