Carrie Murrel Shaw

Carrie Murrel Shaw, 68, Glasgow, died Saturday at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Joseph Edward and Minnie Mae Wilson Sexton and the widow of the late Fred Shaw. She was a homemaker and a member of the Rolling Hills Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Coomer and Michael Coomer and his wife, Paula all of Glasgow; one sister, Christine Clemmons of Justice, IL.; four brothers, Harbert Sexton of Justice, IL., Eugene Sexton of Glasgow, Thurman Sexton and Freeman Sexton both of Edmonton; a step-brother, Paul Shirley of Louisville; several nieces and nephews. A sister, Lena Wilson, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
