Carla Faye Smith, 59 of Glasgow, Kentucky departed this world on July 9, 2023. She was a loving mother to crystal Elizabeth Faye Doyle (Ricky), a loving grandmother to Richard Lee Graham III, a close companion with her lifelong partner and father of her daughter, Rondal Lee Doyle.
Carla was of Baptist faith. She spent her time adoring her daughter and grandson, loving her family and friends. We mourn our loss but celebrate and rejoice in the life of our “Carfaye”.
In addition to her daughter, grandson, and life partner, she is survived by her siblings William Smith, Hazel Witcher (Barry), and Betty Pertuis, two nieces; Windy Dubree (Jerell) and Rebecca Fish-Maraz (Mauricio): Nephew Danny Fish, and a handful of great nephews and nieces, and several beloved friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wick and Ruth Stephens Smith: Three Sisters; Mary Jane Smith, Pauline Ann Davis, Alice Marie Hamill, Brother Wick Smith Jr. ; Two nephews: Danny William Smith, Billy Carla Smith.
An intimate funeral service was held privately at Hatcher and Saddler Funeral home Friday July 14, 2023 with burial in the Camp Ground Cemetery. The family appreciates your love, support, thoughts, and prayers.
