Brenda Lou Simmons

Brenda Lou Keeton Simmons, 77, of Glasgow, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at her home surrounded by family, loved ones, and her furbabies. She was the daughter of the late Roy Brown Keeton and Dossie Wix Houchens. She worked several restaurant and manufacturing jobs including Sorenson and Vanguard Labs. She was a member of the Glasgow Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.

Survivors include four children: Sharon "Cookie" Moss, Roger (Mona) Simmons, Kimberly Dawn Simmons, and Shawn (Dina) Simmons; daughter-in-law Becky Simmons; 10 Grandchildren: Crissy Moss, Dustin Moss, Jason Simmons, Julie Hurt, Amanda Dixon, Joshua Simmons, Andy Dodson, Cody Dodson, Charlie Simmons, and Hunter Simmons; two sisters: Jackie Keeton Harris (Wendell) and Darlene Houchens Tarry (Charles); several Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren; and her Special Fur Babies: KeKe, Abby, and Molly.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Paul Roger Simmons; her son Tony Carroll Simmons; four sisters: Cynthia Vianna Simmons, Nora Earline Keeton Logsdon, Carrie Pearl Keeton Runyon, Doris Ann Keeton Wix; and two brothers Henry Earl Keeton and William Henry Keeton.

Her Grandsons will be her Pallbearers: Dustin Moss, Jason Simmons, Andy Dodson, Cody Dodson, Charlie Simmons and Hunter Simmons.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025, with Brother Mike Gillock officiating at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 24, 2025 and beginning at 1 p.m.
