Brenda Joan Garmon, 74, Glasgow, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024 at NHC Healthcare Center. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Myrtle Likens Marshall. She was a retired factory worker and a member of the East Main Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons: Kevin Garmon (Tammy) of Hiseville and Allen Garmon (Tosha) of Glasgow; nine grandchildren: Jamie Garmon (Whitney), Cody Garmon (Christina), Megan Richey (Justin), Amber Eden (Chase), Tyler Garmon (Kelsie), Ashley Garmon, Becca Zadorozhnyy (Vasily), Chris Atkins (Angie), and James Atkins (Kacee); two sisters: Loretta Matthews and JoAnn Caffee; one brother-in-law, Johnny Hines; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Sherman Junior Garmon; one sister, Faye Hines; one brother, Bobby Marshall; two brothers-in-law: Russell Caffee and Stanford Matthews; and one nephew, Lance Matthews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Garmon Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
