Brad Bailey

d. January 18, 2022

July 10, 1963     ~     January 18, 2022

Bradford Scott Bailey, 58, joined Jesus on Tuesday, January, 18th, 2022.

Brad was born July 10th, 1963 in Glasgow, KY to the late Leroy and Sandra Bailey. When he entered heaven he was also greeted by his daughter Molly Anne Bailey.

Brad is survived by his wife of 15 years, Jennifer Bailey; his daughters Megan (Josh) Komar and Lauren Barrett, and his three grandchildren Bailey, Tate, and Reece Ann as well as several chosen grandchildren who all knew him as Ralph.

Brad was born and raised in the Red Cross Community in Barren County, KY. Brad loved the Lord. He was saved in 1988 and baptized in Sulphur Well. He was a Barren County High School and University of Kentucky College of Agriculture Graduate and a Sigma Nu Fraternity Brother.

He served in many leadership roles in different organizations such as: Barren County Cattlemen’s Association, KY Farm Bureau, IAAO, Barren County FFA Alumni, KY PVA Association, and Barren County Planning and Zoning Committee. He volunteered with The Temple Hill Lions Club and attended many, many community events and fundraisers, always lending a helping hand.

Brad was a jack of all trades; master of none. He was a radio DJ in college, owned a pest control company, installed hardwood floors, and provided back-hoe services. He was an appraiser, cattle hauler, and farmer. Brad served his community as Barren County PVA for 16 years. After retiring he farmed full time alongside his daughter Megan.

Brad was a self proclaimed comedian who loved to make others laugh. His greatest joy was being Ralph and being with his grandchildren. The lake was one of Brad’s favorite places and he was so proud he and Jennifer finally got their houseboat. Golfing was a great hobby for Brad and he loved the many golfing excursions he attended with his friends. He had a love/hate relationship with showing cows, but he loved watched his girls do it and it brought him to his chosen brothers; William and Jesse.

Anyone who ever met Brad has no doubt shared a smile and laugh with him. His infectious personality will be greatly missed. His impact will be felt and remembered.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

In honor of Brad’s committed hatred to flowers, donations can be made to the Barren County 4H Moo Crew or the Temple Hill Lions Club in his memory. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
