Bonnie B. Norman, 66, Glasgow, died Friday, May 31, 2013, at her residence. A native of Cincinnati, she was the daughter of George Thomas and Ruth Clark Bradley. She was a retired teacher with Glasgow City Schools, where she was also sponsor of GHS Book Club, and a member, Deacon, and Sunday School Teacher at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Glasgow.
Survivors include her son: John Carvel Norman and his wife Ashley of Winchester, KY; and her mother: Ruth C. Bradley of Glasgow.
She was preceded in death by her father George T. Bradley and her husband, James Guy Norman, Jr.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church of Glasgow. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to a scholarship fund being established in memory of Jim and Bonnie Norman. Details will be announced later.
