Bonita " Bonnie" Louise Roos Pruitt, 78, Glasgow, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Farrell Roos Sr. & Gladys Schlachter Roos. She was a homemaker; an avid fan of wrestling; and a member of the Catholic faith. Bonnie had a host of names (mom, grandma, nana, gam gam, ma Bonnie).
She is survived by three daughters: Christy Pruitt, Dawn Brooks (Jamie), & Heather Wheeler; ten grandchildren: Shane Pruitt (Phoenix), Savanna Acosta, Dezrael Genaw, Tyler Neet, Ariel Brooks, Kaiden Neet, Tristan Brooks, Jay Pruitt, Jillian Thomas(Zach), RJ Johnson(Ariel), and Ethan Follis; seven great-grandchildren: Jordyn Pruitt, Skyler Tweedy, Javier Acosta, Arianna Acosta, Marcus Mitchell, Anne Jackson, Alexandria Jackson, Brayden Johnson, Coplyn Shirley; three sisters: Robyn Walker (Terry), Karon Esterle (Denny), Sharon Kuhn (Karl); three brothers: Farrell " Butch" Roos, Jr, Dennis Roos (Debbie), Scott Roos (Larissa); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband James "J.L." Pruitt, two sons: James "Jamie" Pruitt & Sean Pruitt; one granddaughter, Lillimarie Genaw, and one brother. David Roos.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2025 at the funeral home.
