Bobby Eugene Burgess

Bobby Eugene Burgess 73, Glasgow, passed away Tuesday August 19, 2025, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. He was the son of the late Haskel Burgess and Vic C. Agers Burgess. He was retired from Barren County Board of Education. He was a dedicated bus driver for over 40 years. Bobby loved working on the farm and tinkering with his tractors.

He is survived by his son Steven Burgess (Melinda); four grandchildren: Chase Dyer, Hunter Walden, Lane Burgess (Candace) and Logan Walden (Jessica); five great-grandchildren and nephew Harold Brown (Melissa).

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter Denise Michele Burgess: Sister Katherine Brown, brother in-law Bobby Brown and niece Judy McCoy.

Funeral service will be held 11:00am Saturday August 23, 2025 at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Tracy church cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
