Bobbe Smith, 84, Glasgow, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016, at her residence. A native of Lexington, TN, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Eddie Gibson Brower. She was an avid supporter of her children and grandchildren; a long-time member of the First Christian Church where she was also a member and team-teacher of the Golden Rule Sunday School Class; and a member and a Past-President of the Glasgow Garden Club.
Survivors include her husband Edwin F. Smith; three daughters: Kathleen W. England (Kathy), Patricia W. Broom (Patty), and Rebecca S. Kingery (Becky); one brother: Edward Brower, Jr.; eight grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Church and from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
