Betsy Lee Waddell

Betsy Lee Waddell, 76, of Cave City, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Albro Blair and Veda Barnes Blair. She was retired from Mammoth Cave Garment. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons: Timmy Waddell and Larry Shannon Waddell; one granddaughter: Holley Scott (Nick); two great-grandsons: Ryan Scott and Noah Scott. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers: Jessie Marshall Blair, Taylor Blair and Bobby Wayne Blair; six sisters: Edith Marie Poynter, Margaret Ann Huff, Brenda Kay Crain, Joyce Mae McCubbin, Teresa Jean Owens and Peggy Sue Spann.

Funeral will be 4:00 pm Sunday, March 9, 2025 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral with a private burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 am Sunday at the funeral home until time for services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
