Bessie L. Bartley, 70, Glasgow, died Friday, December 09, 2011, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Springfield, OH, she was the daughter of Mary and the late John Stickney. She was a private duty healthcare provider and a member of the Glasgow Faith Church.
Survivors include one son, Philip Dale Bartley of Glasgow; two grandsons, Jonathan (Brittany) Bartley and Tyler (Leslie Shelton) Bartley; two special grandsons, Brandon and Eric Bulle; several other family members in Ohio.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earlie Bartley; her long-time companion, David W. Jessie; two children, Earl Lynn Bartley and Katherine Bartley.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the White Cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
