Arkley Cary

Arkley Estes Cary, 75, Glasgow, died Friday, January 05, 2007, at the Rosewood Health Care Center in Bowling Green. A native of Cumberland County, he was the son of the late Vernie and Mary Jane Compton Cary. He was a retired farmer, a veteran, having served with the Unites States Marines and had been attending the Living Faith Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Cary and Marsha Cary and her husband, James Mercer, all of Bowling Green; one grandson, Shane Mercer; one sister, Nell Morgan and her husband, Ralph, of Glasgow; one nephew, Chip Morgan of Glasgow.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Greta Mansfield Cary.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 8, 2007, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
