Aline Jewell Nichols Jones

Aline Jewell Nichols Jones, 82, Glasgow, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at the University of Louisville Hospital. A native of Warren County, she was a daughter of the late Lillian E. Carter and Luther E. Nichols.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Evans and husband, Jim, of Columbia, and Janet Reece of Glasgow; one son, Donnie Scoggins and wife, Bev, of Park City; one sister, Lera Payne of Glasgow; two brothers, Cleo Nichols of Martinsville, IN, and Alton Nichols of Franklin, KY; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Marvin Jones and James Bailey; a daughter, Sheila Carpenter; a brother, Marshall Nichols; and three sisters, Edna Boles, Helen Hannah and Ruth Settles.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
